Ch. 7 Promotions and Marriage

Woohoo my first promotion! And heres to hoping for all of them to go this fast as I truly can't wait to have my Arianna move in. I am slowly coming to the realisation that this might be harder than I at first thought.

This not being able to have a shower is getting very old very fast. Even the hand basin keeps breaking down in protest which takes me precious time to fix every time it does. Though its beyond my comprehension as to why hygiene does not go up when I do this as I get totally drenched every time I repair it.

It is slow and tiring only ever being able to either wash my hands or take a sponge bath. Taking a sponge bath is totally abhorrent to me as where I come from waterfalls are plentiful and taking a shower is as natural as eating. Yet I persist as I just need to think about my sweet Arianna to keep my spirits up.

Dear Diary I know its not really a male thing to do but I find it helps me to write my thoughts and feelings down. I long to have a family but I do not feel right bringing them into this environment where we would not even be able to give them a proper bath so I pray for the promotions to keep coming thick and fast.

At last, I did it, I reached the top of the medical field and I can have a LONG awaited for shower! Which I so desperately need and which I must have if I want to look and smell good for when I ask Arianna to move in which I am going to do as soon as I finish this luxurious shower.

Arianna was so excited to hear that I had finally reached my goal that she raced right on over without even packing her bags. She gladly accepted when I asked her to move in and ....

she matured into a beautiful young woman. Admittedly the workout clothes do not compliment her exquisite beauty but I am so happy to finally have her by my side.

Needless to say I promptly asked her to be my life partner to which I was overjoyed when she accepted even though I did my best to explain yet again how hard this will be for not just her but also any children we will be blessed to have. I also explained that due to all the problems the city is suffering that we would be unable to get our parents here for the ceremony but again Arianna rose to the occasion and waved away my concerns.


The bonding ceremony was a very quiet ceremony as we do not know to many people all that well yet. I know that now I am bonded to Arianna I will never be as lonely as I have been the past few months.
